Το EUROPE DIRECT Thessaloniki συμμετείχε ενεργά στην ημερίδα «Δυνατή φωνή – Δυνατό
παιδί», που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο κατάμεστο συνεδριακό κέντρο του Δήμου Κιλκίς, από
το 2ο Πειραματικό Λύκειο Κιλκίς, με τη συνεργασία του οργανισμού Το Χαμόγελο του
Παιδιού, παρουσία του Προέδρου του κου Γιαννόπουλου.
Στην Ημερίδα συμμετείχε το Λύκειο Ελληνίδων, το 1ο ΓεΛ Κιλκίς, το Ενιαίο Ειδικό
Επαγγελματικό Γυμνάσιο- Λύκειο Κιλκίς, το 3ο Γυμνάσιο Κιλκίς, η Ευρωβουλευτής κα E.
Μελέτη και το 1ο ΕπαΛ Κιλκίς.
Η εκδήλωση σημείωσε εξαιρετική ανταπόκριση, με το Συνεδριακό των 220 θέσεων, γεμάτο
από μαθητές, εκπαιδευτικούς, γονείς και εκπροσώπους της τοπικής κοινωνίας.
Η παρέμβαση του EUROPE DIRECT Θεσσαλονίκη ξεχώρισε για τον ζωντανό και διαδραστικό
της χαρακτήρα. Μέσα από ερωταποκρίσεις, σύντομα παραδείγματα από την ευρωπαϊκή
καθημερινότητα των νέων και συμμετοχική διαδικασία, οι μαθητές δεν ήταν απλοί
ακροατές αλλά ενεργοί συνομιλητές. Η παρουσίαση επικεντρώθηκε:
– στα δικαιώματα του παιδιού και των νέων στο ευρωπαϊκό πλαίσιο,
– στη σημασία της ενεργού πολιτειότητας,
– στη δύναμη της φωνής των μαθητών στη σχολική και κοινωνική ζωή,
– στις ευρωπαϊκές πρωτοβουλίες για την προστασία και ενδυνάμωση των παιδιών.
Ιδιαίτερη αναφορά έγινε στις ευρωπαϊκές αξίες, στη συμμετοχή των νέων στη δημοκρατική
διαδικασία και στις δυνατότητες που προσφέρονται μέσω προγραμμάτων κινητικότητας,
εθελοντισμού και νεανικής συμμετοχής.
Την εκδήλωση τίμησαν με την παρουσία τους εκπρόσωποι της τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης,
θεσμικοί φορείς, καθώς και αιρετοί εκπρόσωποι της Περιφέρειας και του Δήμου,
υπογραμμίζοντας τη σημασία της συνεργασίας σχολείου, κοινωνίας των πολιτών και
ευρωπαϊκών δομών.
Το μήνυμα της ημέρας ήταν σαφές: μια κοινωνία που ακούει τα παιδιά της γίνεται πιο
δίκαιη, πιο δημοκρατική και πιο ανθρώπινη.
Το EUROPE DIRECT Thessaloniki ευχαριστεί θερμά τη Διεύθυνση, τους εκπαιδευτικούς και
κυρίως τους μαθητές του 2ου Πειραματικού Λυκείου Κιλκίς για τη ζεστή φιλοξενία, τη
δυναμική συμμετοχή και τον ουσιαστικό διάλογο που αναπτύχθηκε.

EUROPE DIRECT Thessaloniki in Schools: 2nd Experimental High School of Kilkis
EUROPE DIRECT Thessaloniki actively participated in the conference “Strong Voice – Strong
Child,” organized by the 2nd Experimental High School of Kilkis at the fully packed
Conference Center of the Municipality of Kilkis, in cooperation with the organization The Smile of the Child, in the presence of its President and President of the European Anti-
bullying Network, Mr Costas Giannopoulos.
The event brought together several local institutions and schools, including the Lyceum Club of Greek Women, the 1st General High School of Kilkis, the Unified Special Vocational
Gymnasium–Lyceum of Kilkis, the 3rd Gymnasium of Kilkis, Member of the European
Parliament Ms Ε. Meleti, and the 1st Vocational High School of Kilkis.
The event received an outstanding response, with the 220-seat conference hall completely
filled with students, teachers, parents, and members of the local community.
The intervention of EUROPE DIRECT Thessaloniki stood out for its dynamic and interactive
approach. Through questions and answers, short examples from the everyday European
experiences of young people, and participatory dialogue, students were not simply listeners
but active participants in the discussion.
The presentation focused on:
– children’s and youth rights within the European framework,
– the importance of active citizenship,
– the power of students’ voices in school and social life,
– European initiatives aimed at protecting and empowering children.
Special emphasis was placed on European values, youth participation in democratic
processes, and the opportunities available through mobility, volunteering, and youth
participation programs.
The event was honored by the presence of representatives of local authorities, institutional
stakeholders, and elected officials from the Region and the Municipality, highlighting the
importance of cooperation between schools, civil society, and European institutions.
The message of the day was clear: a society that listens to its children becomes more just,
more democratic, and more humane.
