Chrysippos was a Stoic philosopher of Ancient Greece, from Cilicia of Minor Asia. He went to Athens and succeeded Cleanthes in the management of the Stoic School. He was a prolific writer but none of his works have survived. Chrysippos was also the name of a Greek mythological figure.
