Konstantinos Raktivan was born in Manchester and died in Athens in 1935. He was a jurist and politician. He was the first representative of the Greek government in the liberated – after 1912 – areas, being assigned with their administrative restructuring. He was elected President of the Athens Academy and of the Council of State and he wrote legal studies.
