PHIΝΤIOU

Phintias was a Pythagorean philosopher, similarly to his friend Damon, in Syracuse. Their names are the symbol of unbreakable friendship and the source of inspiration for many works of art, because Damon volunteered to die instead of his friend Phintias, who was accused by Tyrant Dionysius of Syracuse.
