Zografou Eleni (1872-1937)
She was born in Thessaloniki and died in Austria. National benefactor. Daughter of the architect Lysandros Kaftantzoglou. In 1929, by will, she transferred half of her property in the form of a bequest to the then Municipal Hospitals of Thessaloniki and Ioannina, so that indigent patients could be treated in their special wards free of charge.
