Stephanos Tattis (1825-1910) was born in Moschopoli of Epirus. He was a tobacco merchant and a distinguished member of the Greek Community of Thessaloniki and one of the Elders. He was President of the The Charitable Brotherhood of Thessaloniki and in 1877 he was elected MP for Thessaloniki at the Ottoman Parliament in Constantinople. He also fought for the Macedonian Struggle, through the Greek Defence Committee.
